163875409_fccd03e623_m.jpgYou know the guy on your team who’s always pushing back against unusual ideas? The gloom-and-doomer who’s convinced that if it’s different, it must be wrong? Could be he’s just afraid of not succeeding at a new endeavor.

Here’s some food for thought to convince him that failure can indeed be an option.

    An interesting thought comes to mind! "You cant trust anybody these days"! Loyalty, trust and confidence between employees and employer is also a result for failour in organisations. For example "Job Hoppers" and "Corrupt Bose's". Can this be a can of worms? what info do you have on "Trust and Loyalty". Baldeagle

    I heartily agree with these sentiments, with one proviso: the environment in which one strives must be such that risking failure doesn't equate to dire consequences. Courage to fail quickly become foolhardiness if the chance exists that you will die, or lose your job.

    Totally true

    Would be foolish to blithely leap into failure if the consequences would indeed be dire. Unfortunately, some jobs don't see any sort of failure as an option...but hopefully the fail-ee could take some solace in the thoughts listed here.

    I Tremble in Fear

    If this statement were true then there would still be slavery. Corruption in government and corporations would never be challenged and evil would run rampant, unchecked by individuals with the courage to stand on principles and values. Individuals willing to sacrifice their job or life when there is no chance of succeeding.

    If you look back on mankind's history it is littered with great luminaries and heroes in all aspects of human striving who were considered fools in their day. To pursue innovation means to embrace the hardships of change in the face of personal lose.

    I tremble in fear imagining a world where there are no heroes willing to sacrifice their life for us, no champions willing to sacrifice their jobs to advance the ideas that transform us, no role models that show us how to risk our egos, position in society, and our very lives in order to achieve a more inspiring, effective and impactful life.

    But a question: do you think sacrifice equates to failure? Wouldn't a sacrifice in the name of a greater good actually be considered a success? Or does it require the perspective of time and history to make that judgment?

    Very inspirational. However,there are quite a number of organisations where 'failure' is not welcome. What I have found out is that innovation resides only in the Chief failure seeker while the rest are afraid to take iniatives/ The perpetuality of the soul of such organisations are rapidly expended.

    Failure is the seed towards success . In Tamil there is a famous saying that ' the magnanimity or dignity of the shade will be seen only in scotching sun'.
    The real taste of success can only be seen after seeing the failure. A man who has come across failures can ONLY achieve the best . Thanks for the great 10 Inspirations for Embracing Failure.
