VIDEO #1

VIDEO #2

VIDEO #3

Here’s the post:

One of the questionable “perks” of writing this blog is that I get to see a LOT of sales training videos.

Some of them really make you wonder: what in God’s name were they thinking?

The three above are the weirdest I’ve ever seen, bar none.

The first apparently features an animated corpse, the second what appears to be a slightly tipsy aussie, and the third some woman who’s trying to say something (but what?) while she bobs around on the camera.

Anyway, here’s a chance to vote on which one is the strangest example of this “art”.

Watch the first 30 seconds or so of each video (more if you’re a masochist) and then vote below:

Which Video is Weirdest?

READERS: I challenge you to find a sales training video worse than these three.  If you find one, send me a link and I’ll post it on the blog.

#3 is ahead in the poll, I think, not because it's such a bad video (although it's pretty amateur), but because it's bad audio.

All three of these get bogged down in jargon, jargon, and jargon.

    QUOTE: jargon, jargon, and jargon

You are in error! They are simply thinking out of the box to sprinkle their magic on mission-critical best practices.

#1 is about to pull a Luger from under the desk, his flinty gaze holding you in his hypnotic spell. #2 I am begging him to find the focus knob...soon. #3 may run out of fingers if she enumerates any other 'features' I simply cannot live without. or maybe I didn't hear her correctly??

I don't feel comfortable to vote eventhough I don't like them. Will it be better if we find the best ones and vote on them?

RE: World's Weirdest Sales Training Video

There is a need for sales training, so why make fun of the ones who bring it to you. Shame on you. I happen to have worked with the 1st guy over 3 yrs ago. His name is Oscar Houston. He was the #1 Sales Person in the USA for Mattress Firm. I have taken his course & learned some Temperment selling secrets. It really does work! The guy is worth his weight in GOLD! Today I connected with a client, using Temperment Selling Techinques & sold them a $2,999 bed before I even watched the videos. There is no telling how much money I have made using his techinques. I highly recommend his services.
