Two of my most popular “TV ad posts” have been “Top 10 Uninentionally Creepy TV Ads” and “Top 10 Intentionally Creepy TV Ads.”  While searching for creepy videos, I quickly discovered that when it comes to creepy, Japanese television ads go beyond all bounds of reason.

So here are ten of the truly strangest, most disturbing commercials ever shown on commercial television.  I find it difficult to imagine that ANY of them have any purpose whatsoever when it comes to actually selling products. But then, that’s true of a lot of marketing, especially advertising.
