From the Internet tools file: a “press release grader” that will tell you whether your press release will be an effective marketing tool.

Powered by HubSpot, an Internet marketing company, the “press release grader” will “evaluate your press release and provides a marketing effectiveness score. This score is based upon basic factors from public relations experts including the language and content of the release, plus advanced factors from Internet marketing experts such as links and search engine optimization characteristics.” [from their website]

Check out the press release grader on your next release and tell us whether you found it effective.

Not a bad tool but it has some bugs in it; I'll probably check it out in a few weeks to see if they've been resolved.

    not bad, but...

try using it on their own releases they usually score about 0/100... seems strange why the "professionals" are not using their own rules when it comes to creating press statements...
