The new product, announced at the All Things Digital conference last month, ranks high on the coolness factor, but practical uses seem few and far between in light of all the computing alternatives. Microsoft Surface & Friends
The Microsoft Surface table reminds me of the big white dog that the Chandler character on "Friends" had in his room and tried to bring with him when he moved in with Monica. Maybe a few geeky guys will like Microsoft Surface, but nobody cool will ever buy it.
