    Multiple Sources of Trust

Ted's presentation supports the theoretical (Trust Enablement) premise that multiple (even semi-trusted) sources of trust can help establish higher levels of trust and confidence than one highly "authoritative" source. In other words, the "authoritative" sources of trust at the top of the pyramid do not have as much influence as multiple "experiential" (think of eBay's Feedback Forum) sources of trust (sides of the diamond). What's new is that the latter are now empowered with an unprecedented public voice.
