Toyota's Nick DieltiensToyota is famous for lean manufacturing, but the No. 1 automaker applies the whole lean philosophy way beyond the production floor. Lean is a “knowledge environment,” says Nick Dieltsien, who’s responsible for strategic planning at Lexus Europe. In an interesting video from Nimbus Consulting (7:06), Dieltsien explains how (and why) functions like sales and marketing can (and should) adopt the lean mindset. Check it out.
