how do you get someone to stop scheduling status meetings about status meetings?

Hi! I am one of those that HATE the above meetings...where basically some being wants to hear THEMSELVES...how did I change this? EASY - I started sending this StatPleasePerson non-stop articles about "PRODUCTIVE MEETINGS" "MEETINGS THAT MAKE SENSE" - it took awhile but eventually this being got it!

Very good advice on this video.
Notice how most meetings which people have do not have end results. The more people involved in a meeting, the less possibility for a productive meeting. I very much like the concept mentioned in this video about "cutting meeting times in half", this can be extended to "cutting attendees" in half as well.

Nice and informative video, the key concept was to get involved the persons into decision making i tried my self in my web design community and its really successful.
