Even good leaders sometimes fail to make the right moves at the right time. In his new book, Sydney Finkelstein argues that paying attention to four “red flags” in the decision-making process can help us make smarter business choices. He says we can learn from others’ mistakes, such as Richard Fuld’s management of Lehman Brothers in Fall 2008, Jerry Yang’s rejection of Microsoft’s bid for Yahoo!, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s reaction to Hurricane Katrina.

Featured Guest: Sydney Finkelstein, author of “Why Smart Executives Fail.”
