In the past we’ve shared advice on how to survive dinner with your wine snob boss and order wine at a business luncheon or dinner. As every wine enthusiast knows, where a wine comes from and how it is made determines its character and quality. But many wineries today are altering their time-honored methods — and for the better. They are opting to employ green technologies and more organic vine-growing methods.

In this BNET video, Jonah Beer, general manager of Frog’s Leap Winery in Napa County, California, talks about how solar and other sustainable technologies are making his operation more efficient — and his wines for flavorful.

How fitting that one of the world’s oldest agricultural businesses now employs some of the world’s latest techniques.
