Recently I blogged There Won’t Be Any Landlines in 2013. Like many of you, Phil Leigh, the President of Inside Digital Media, is somewhat skeptical of my claim although he does think that T-Mobile’s announcement of a nation wide rollout of its WiFi-capable cellphone is significant.  He interviewed me on this last week and posted the audio today at http://www.insidedigitalmedia.com/downloads/wifiphone.mp3. It’s free for downloading or listening to online or as a podcast.

Phil also asked some questions about then rumored Microsoft acquisition of Yahoo. “Bad idea,” say I and apparently the companies involved (or at least one of them) thought so, too since this now seems to be off the table.  It’s in the interview, though.
