Remember TripIt, the travel-management site that automatically organizes all your itineraries and other travel deets? The service recently rolled out some interesting updates, starting with TripIt To Me: You send an e-mail or text message to TripIt, and the service sends back your itinerary, flight details, hotel address, and/or car-rental info. That’s exactly the feature I asked for in my original post; thanks, guys!

Even better, TripIt can now sync with Outlook, Google Calendar, Plaxo, Apple iCal, and other services that support Web-based events. Translation: When the airline changes your flight times (which seems to happen on every single flight I book), TripIt will automatically update your calendar. If you’re a frequent traveler and you haven’t checked out this service, now’s the time. [via Crave]

    LOVE TripIt

A group of 5 friends used TripIt to coordinate a group trip to Argentina, and it helped keep our loved ones informed of our whereabouts.

There are some kinks with regards to its use as an international travel manager (Maps works best with US destinations, I've found), but the mere parsing of your e-ticket confirmation email is HUGE.
