Beep-boop-boop, beep-boop-boop-beep.

Ring. Ring.

“Welcome to Jott. Who do you want to Jott?”

“Google Calendar.”

“Beep.”

“Meet Dave for lunch at Panera tomorrow at 12:30.”

In much the same way you can add Google Calendar entries via SMS, now you can do the same thing with your voice. Jott just added an official Google Calendar link to its increasingly robust selection of Jott-able services. Previously, you had to perform a bit of hackery to use Jott with Google Calendar. Now it’s a right and proper part of the service.

If you’re not familiar with Jott, well, you haven’t been hanging around here much. Check out this post on using Jott with I Want Sandy, and this one on checking flight status.
