In short, it’s a robust note-taking and document-organization tool, one that’s especially useful for Tablet PC users. Normally it runs $49.95, but you can get it free of charge if you act fast.

Yep, it’s another Giveaway of the Day deal (we’ve highlighted a few in the past). That means you have until midnight tonight to download and install the program; after that, you’ll have to pony up like everyone else (though you can still get a 60-day trial version from the developer). But that’s the only catch. EverNote requires Windows 2000 or later.
