treytable1Finding an office chair that works well for you can be an expensive and tiring process. A review in Slate a couple of years ago found that many pricey ergonomic chairs—including the famous Aeron—could be pretty uncomfortable. (The overall winner: The Liberty from Humanscale. Too bad it will set you back a grand.)

treytable2A cheaper alternative is the TreyChair, which for under $300 gives you a quality seat that comes apart to form a floor-level rocking chair and laptop stand. (I guess you could put other things on the stand if you really wanted to.) The guys over at Gizmodo tested it out and found both iterations of it to be very comfy.
