motivated.JPGHow do you make yourself productive when you’re having an off-day? I usually take a break and allow myself to play a game or watch a funny video on the condition that when it’s over, I’ll get back to work. Some days, that’s just the ticket. Other days, I spend far too much time on YouTube.

So I’m always on the lookout for tips that can help push me back into the zone. Over at LifeHack.org, they’ve laid out several tricks you can do to spur yourself back into meaningful activity. Most of them are pretty standard, but there are a few off-beat one that make a lot of sense, like forcing yourself to do five minutes of work in order to take a break . Oftentimes, that will be all you need to get rolling again, and you wont need that break after all.

    Wow! Our organization blocks access to internet sites like Youtube..in fear of lost productivity!

    I find if the work is not due on that particular day, and your motivation is
    sapped.. putter around then, but putter around on things that need some
    attention but is not crucial.
