Buffalo Hard DriveA few months ago, I told you about DesktopTwo, a nifty (free!) online personal computing environment that you can access from anywhere and lets you upload and download files quickly. Sometimes, though, I'd like to be able to access much more than the two gigs of space that DesktopTwo allows.

On Monday, Buffalo Technology is releasing software that will let me to access my entire home hard drive. According to Gizmodo, I'll be able to get into a remote LinkStation Live external hard drive from anywhere by simply going online and typing in a password. I'll still have to pay a bit above the market rate for the memory (from about $229 for 250gigs to $349 for 500gigs) but I'll have access to it everywhere, plus the ability to stream music at 35 mbps.
