Sync Folders Across Multiple PCs with FolderShare

foldershare.jpgProblem: You’ve got a desktop in your office, a notebook that travels with you, and a need to access the same files and folders on both machines. Solution: Microsoft’s kick-ass FolderShare, a free service that not only keeps folders in sync between computers, but also lets you share files with others and access files remotely.

All you do is sign up for a free account, then install and run the FolderShare software (a small system-tray utility) on the machines you want to  sync. From there you follow a simple Web-based wizard to choose a machine, a folder, and a destination. The sync process happens in the background, requiring no extra effort on your part. Now, whenever a file gets changed, added, or removed in one location, it’s updated accordingly in the other location(s). I’m lovin’ it!
