One problem with a lot of computer-based productivity-increasing tips is that they generally require some technical knowledge in order to be implemented properly. But Eric over at InternetDuctTape.com has just the right tone (and screenshots!) for beginners looking to tap into some of his expertise.

His most recent tutorial is on how to install Firefox extensions, those browser add-ons that let you do everything from save your internet sessions to block ads. He gives examples of cool extensions to download, then takes you through each step of the download process. He also goes over some common problems and explains how to troubleshoot them, like when your desired extension downloads instead of installs.
