The next time you get into your hotel room on a business trip, there’s no need to order a movie or listen to crappy music on the room’s stereo. Simply take out your iPod and use the SendStation PocketDock AV to plug it into whatever appliance or outlet you want. With USB ports as well as composite and S-Video cables, the $35 dock lets you plug into anything and output both music and movies. According to Chris Hunter over at Cool Tools, using the audio line out from the dock leads to much cleaner sound than using the headphone jack, so it’s also a good way to hook your iPod up to your home stereo as well.
