thinking.jpgDoes your mind wander when it should be firing on all cylinders? Do you lack focus? Are you unable to concentrate on this very post… HEY, PAY ATTENTION! Lifehack.org offers 10 tips for sharpening your concentration skills, including my personal favorite:

Isolate Yourself  Become a hermit and stay away from other people if you want to get work done. Unless your work is based on other people they will only break your focus. Create a private space and refuse to talk to anyone until your work is finished. Put a sign on your door to steer away drop-ins and don’t answer your phone.

The author also recommends some fairly obvious steps, like removing distractions and setting deadlines, along with a few less-obvious methods: stay healthy, learn to be patient, and clarify your objectives to minimize confusion.
