revo-uninstaller.jpgWhen you remove a program from your PC, you don’t want it leaving behind little bits of code here and there. You want it gone, like it never existed in the first place. That’s the idea behind Revo Uninstaller, a robust bit of freeware that promises to do a much more thorough job than Windows’ own uninstaller. The program is not only much faster than Windows’ sluggish Add/Remove Programs applet, it also comes with a startup manager, junk-files remover, browser-history cleaner, and more. What’s more, after you uninstall a program, Revo can scan for “dregs” (files and Registry entries) that the program’s own uninstaller left behind. This is a great little utility that’s well worth having if you like to keep a system that’s neat and orderly. [via AppScout]
