If you rely on one or more Google Apps (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, etc.), you probably lay awake nights worrying what would happen if some disaster befell Google’s servers — and wiped out your data along with it. Lifehacker’s Adam Pash shows you how to back up various Google Apps using various methods (there’s no universal backup solution, alas), thus affording you some local control over your data — and some peace of mind. You may need a bit of software here or a Greasemonkey script there, but overall these are pretty easy solutions (cheap, too). You should definitely put them into play if you’re a Google Apps user.
