slideshare.jpgRemember mPower Play, the Web-based presentation creator/viewer? SlideShare is just a viewer, a place to upload and share your PowerPoint slides. However, it takes a decidedly YouTube-style approach to slideshows, with options to rate, review, tag, share, and even embed presentations. What’s more, a newly added feature lets you upload an MP3 audio track to sync with the slideshow, meaning you can effectively add narration. This could prove incredibly useful for instructors, marketing folks, realtors (who could create narrated slideshows of listed homes), and so on. SlideShare is free to use; give it a whirl! I love SlideShare!

For one thing, I generally HATE powerpoint. SlideShare is an environment that forces you away from dull, mindless bullet points and toward visual creativity with powerpoint.

I like to add slideshare slide shows to my websites for another way visitors can get information.

Doesn't always work the right way!

My experience has shown that presentations are not displayed the way they are, and when downloaded, they can be missing some elements. Addressing SlideShare's support service didn't help (although they said they'd fix it).

That has never happened to me

    Were your slides particularly complex?

I want to experiment with mashing an mp3 podcast and slides next.
