Planning to meet up with friends and colleagues after work? Instead of relying on old standbys, branch out using MappyHour to find the best bars with the cheapest food and drink specials on a given day (via BoingBoing). It’s a crowdsourced site, which means that there’s a lot of local knowledge being spread. Once you’ve got your itinerary, you can email groups of folks directly from the site with the exact pub-crawling plan.

Checked out this site for New York financial center. One spot listed had an apartment number. Another is a neighborhood strip joint, a real surprise if you weren't expecting it. I'd recommend calling the business ahead of time before you go to be sure it's what you're looking for.
