Invoices. White gold. Food on the table. Major pain in the neck. Billing Boss is a Web service that creates, tracks, and sends invoices. It offers unlimited invoicing and supports online payments via PayPal and other services. Most amazing of all, it’s free.

Not “free unless you have more than five clients” or “free for the first month.” It’s free, period. And it’s pretty slick, too, as you can see in this demo video:

As you can see, Billing Boss is easy to use and easy on the eyes, and it does just about everything a small-business owner or freelancer would need. You can collect taxes if your business requires it, add your company logo to your invoices, and even access your account on your iPhone or G1 phone.

I have to say, I think my days of cranking out invoices in Word and tracking them in Excel have come to an end. Billing Boss makes simple work of an annoying chore, and does it for an unbeatable price.

If you want to check out the competition, see our previous write-ups of CurdBee, InvoTrak, and Zoho Invoice.

    Wow, thanks!

I really appreciate the kind words -- I'm with the team that wrote Billing Boss. It also supports Spanish, French, Italian, Korean, Portuguese (+ Brazilian), and Chinese (Simplified, and Traditional for Taiwan and Hong Kong) so you can work in your preferred language and send invoices to customers in their preferred language. We hope you find it useful!
