google-apps.jpgRunning a non-profit? If so, you can get in on the same great deal offered to schools: free Google Apps. In case you’re unfamiliar with it, Google Apps consists of various Google services, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Page Creator, all managed under a single Web-based control panel and customized with your organization’s logo, content, etc. Here’s the scoop:

Registered non-profits with current 501(c)(3) in the U.S. now qualify for Google Apps Education Edition. To get started, just complete the Education Edition signup form. We’ll verify your 501(c)(3) status using your 9-digit Employee ID Number, and contact you about the status of your Edition upgrade via email.

Such a deal! What sweetens it even more is the availability of 24/7 tech support, including phone-based help. Of course, even if you’re not a non-profit or educational institution, Google Apps has much to offer small businesses and larger enterprises. Hit the link above to check out the rates and options. RE: Free Google Apps for Your Non-Profit Organization

Two years on and nobody has bothered to point out that this is just not relevant in UK... unless your non-profit is also registered in the US.

    Another thoughtlessly syndicated post.
