When I use Microsoft Word, I rarely touch the mouse. That’s because I know all the keyboard shortcuts for things like copying, pasting, indenting, and document navigation. Turns out a lot of those shortcuts carry over to Google Docs & Spreadsheets, and they’re all listed in a handy table right here. For example:

Ctrl-A  Select All
Ctrl-B  Bold
Ctrl-C  Copy
Ctrl-E  Center Alignment
Ctrl-P  Print

If you’ve avoided GD&S because its browser trappings made it seem slower somehow, you’ll no doubt appreciate these quickie keyboard shortcuts. Meanwhile, stay tuned for the all-but-written-in-stone addition of a presentations tool. Wonder what they’ll call GD&S when that’s unveiled: Google Docs & Spreadsheets & Presentations? Google Workplace? Google Office Killaz?
