Good news for the four or five Symbian smartphone users out there (I kid, I kid): Quickoffice Premier 6.0 lets you view, edit, and create Office 2007 documents on any Symbian S60 handset.

The suite supports Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files for Office 2007 and earlier. The new 6.0 version adds the option to view column and line charts in Excel 2007, with real-time recalculation. The enhanced file manager now lets you Zip files.

Other new features include the ability to open password-protected Word and Excel files; word count for Word documents; and Go To Cell for easier navigation of worksheets.

Quickoffice Premier 6.0 normally sells for $49, but you can grab it now for the introductory price of $39. Definitely a worthwhile tool for the Symbian-packing road warrior. [via AppScout]
