cashback.jpgFor years, I’ve been a sucker for the Discover Card, even though my experiences with the card often mimic this Futurama scene between Fry and a store clerk in the year 3000:

Fry: “Do you take Visa?”
Clerk: “Visa hasn’t existed for five hundred years.”
Fry: “American Express?”
Clerk: “Six hundred years.”
Fry: “Discover Card?”
Clerk: “Sorry, we don’t take Discover.”

I put up with Discover, though, because it gives me cash back for every purchase. Now Live Search offers a cash-back discount of its own. So if you’re shopping, you might as well look for the item using Live Search. At participating online stores, you can get a few percent back on each purchase, up to a total of $2500 per year.

How good are the deals? Well, I’m in the market for a Nikon D90. Pricegrabber led me to Adorama, asking $870. Next, I found that Live Search offers the same deal at Adorama, but threw in a $26 cashback discount, for a bottom line of $843. Woo!
