docstoc-logo.jpgRemember Docstoc, the “YouTube for documents” service we wrote about last year? It’s an online repository for professional documents, one that previously required you to futz with a Web interface to upload your own files. Well, uploading just got easier: Now you can e-mail any document to uploads@docstoc.com and presto, it gets added to your account. (Just make sure it comes from the e-mail address you used to register with Docstoc.)

After Docstoc receives your e-mail, you’ll get a reply with a link to your newly converted document (the service turns Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other files into embedded, interactive, Flash-powered Web goodness).

Good stuff? I think so. But I’m curious to know how many of you are using Docstoc (or its main competitor, Scribd) and for what purposes. Hit the Comments and spill your guts! [via TechCrunch]
