iphonekeyboard1.jpgOne of the most maddening things for iPhone users used to be that you could turn your iPhone sideways and get a large QWERTY keyboard when you were surfing, but not when you were using the mail application. Thanks to a new app called TouchType by Mike Schneider (who also created a lo-jack app), your email finger cramps are now a thing of the past. Simply download the app for a buck from iTunes and you’re good to go. Even if you’ve gotten used to the vertical keyboard, I’m almost positive you’ll be faster and happier on this one.

There are several other applications that were released
on the same day that provide similar functionality. One
such application is called "Sideways" and provides more
vertical space for typing and saves a draft of the email
you are typing. Slightly more expensive @ $1.99, but
    worth it.

    iTunes Store Link for Sideways

The link in our previous post didn't seem to work properly. If this one does not work either, please
just copy and paste the whole URL into your browser.
