OtherInbox is a much-buzzed-about new service designed to help you manage e-mail overload. Basically, it gives you a Web-based ”other inbox” to use for newsletters, receipts, LinkedIn updates, and all the other stuff that’s not really junk mail, but that you don’t want clogging up your primary inbox. The above video, recorded at the recent TechCrunch conference, shows OtherInbox in action and explains more about what it can do.

Alas, the service is in private beta testing for the moment — but Business Hacks users can take OtherInbox for a spin right now! Yep, we’ve scored some invites just for you. Give it a try, then hit the Comments and let us know what you think.

I’ve just started fiddling with the service, and to me it looks like an incredibly polished, convenient take on the old Gmail trick of creating disposable e-mail addresses. Definitely one to watch — and try.

Sorry for the auto-playing video... think I got it fixed.
