It’s a gala day for Business Hacks: We’ve finally rolled out a long-overdue “flat” commenting system! Now it’s much, much easier to join the discussion for each post and see what’s on the minds of your fellow commenters. The new system is still a little glitchy in Firefox (I’m sure the Powers That Be are working on it), but it’s looking suh-weet in Internet Explorer.

Check it out for yourself: Find a recent post you like (or even don’t like) and add a comment! I think you’ll love the new setup, and I look forward to a lot more interaction with everyone. Enjoy!

    What is this?

What is so "flat" about it? "Flat" as in boring and who the heck cares? Is it "flat" because there is no backend database to store the comments or something, is that what you're referring to? Do you no longer have to log on to post? Is it faster? Does it look any different? Well whoop-dee-friggin-doo!!!

    Love live threaded!

Without a threaded view, it's difficult to determine who is replying to whom... bring back threaded!

    Falling Flat on Your Kiester...

    Its actually pretty ugly.

My first reaction was, 'what the heck is wrong?'

Everything's all big and gooney looking now, and scrolling down like that is no fun.

    Leaves me flat.
