CyberSearch adds Google search capabilities to Firefox 3’s address bar (a.k.a. the Awesome Bar). The newly released 1.0 version adds customizable keyword system to the mix, making searches even quicker.

As Firefox 3 users know by now, one of the browser’s best new features is the “smart” address bar, which remembers your history and frequently visited sites. CyberSearch runs a Google search as you type, adding the results alongside the browser’s standard history results. As for keywords, I can’t even begin to explain that here — but the above video will fill you in.

CyberSearch pairs nicely with FireTune, the speed-boosting Firefox extension David posted yesterday. Once you start using it, I expect you’ll find the Awesome Bar even more awesome than before.
