Online meetings can be an ideal way to connect with team members or even clients. DimDim offers free Web-based meetings for up to 20 people, and the attendees don’t even need to install any software.

A DimDim meeting can include audio and video conferencing, screen sharing, document sharing, annotation and markup tools, and so on. Perhaps best of all, it’s a cross-platform solution, offering compatibility with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. Everything happens inside the browser, which is why there’s no software to install. (Hosts may need to install a plug-in or two to enable features like screen sharing.)

DimDim Pro, which starts at $99 annually, adds features like two-way video conferencing and support for up to 100 attendees. But most small-biz types should be more than satisfied with the free version, which is one of the most robust Web-meeting services I’ve seen yet.
