tech-support.jpgFor the past week or two I’ve experienced a perfect storm of computer glitches. Either something old stops working or something new doesn’t work right. Unfortunately, because I’m the most tech-savvy person I know, I have nowhere to turn for help — I usually have to solve the problems myself.

If extensive Google searching doesn’t provide an answer, I typically end up at some relevant user forum, hoping that someone else has experienced — and solved — the same problem. Occasionally I’ll post a message asking for help, and once in a while I’ll get it.

All of which got me to wondering: How do you solve computer problems? Is there an IT guy or gal in your office who swoops in and makes everything better? Do you dial tech support and hope for the best? Vote in our latest poll, then hit the Comments to tell us how you cope with those maddening tech problems. Photo by marstheinfomage.
