shiptool.jpgRemember RedRoller, the site that compares shipping rates from various carriers? It was free while in beta, but now the service charges a monthly fee (which probably defeats any savings you might get from choosing one carrier over another).

Fortunately, another shipping-rate comparison site has arrived to take its place: Shiptool. Just choose which of the four major carriers you want to compare (DHL, Fedex, USPS, and UPS), then plug in the details about your package (ship-from and ship-to addresses, package weight, shipping options, etc.). One click later, Shiptool gives you a complete list of rates, sorted lowest to highest, with links that take you straight through to the shipper’s site.

Very handy, and very worth bookmarking. Unlike RedRoller, Shiptool costs nada. [via eHub]
