Fill Your Open Time Slots with HourTown Online Scheduling

hourtown.jpgIf you saw our recent posts on Web-based appointment-scheduling services Acuity and Genbook and thought, “Huh, that sounds pretty cool,” you should also check out HourTown. Designed for small-business owners, HourTown lets you post your open time slots on the Web so customers can schedule appointments with you.

In addition to its online calendar, HourTown provides contact management, customer tracking, “book now” buttons you can embed in your site, and automated e-mail reminders (for you and your clients). It also offers advertising tools designed to help you get more traffic from the likes of Google and Yahoo.

Although HourTown offers a freebie account, it’s more of a limited trial. Most users will want the $19.95/monthly Business account, which affords all the features and unlimited scheduling. For $29.95 monthly, the Business Pro account includes premium phone support.

I can’t say firsthand whether HourTown is any better than Acuity, Genbook, or another scheduling service, but if you’re looking to adopt one, add it to your list of potential candidates.
