An extremely cheap (actually, free) way to see if your site is up to snuff is to go to HubSpot’s websitegrader.com, which gives out useful and detailed information about your site’s SEO juice.
Some of the upgrades it will suggest for your site (like giving a 301 redirect from company.com to www.company.com) are easy enough to do on your own.
