Foxit Software just released a new version of freeware PDF viewer Foxit Reader, adding tabbed document browsing to an already robust feature set. In case you’re not familiar with it, Foxit Reader is perhaps the most popular alternative to Adobe Reader, as it offers much of the same functionality with none of the bloat.

Other new features include support for embedded audio and video, commenting and callout tools, a magnifier, and automatic scrolling. You can also create, edit, and delete bookmarks (in documents that allow that option).

I’ve been a Foxit Reader user for quite some time, though I do keep Adobe Reader installed just so I can laugh at what an overwrought application it’s become. What’s your PDF viewer of choice? Hit the Comments and fess up. [via CyberNet]
