call-firewall.jpgFeel like you’re drowning in a deluge of phone calls? If you’re a Windows Mobile smartphone user, you can block unwanted calls with Call Firewall.

Compatible with Windows Mobile 5 and 6, this utility lets you configure your phone to handle calls in several different ways. For instance, you can allow calls only from those people in your Contacts list. You can create a whitelist and reject calls from anyone not on it. And you can create a blacklist that blocks calls accordingly. I particularly like the SMS option, which sends a custom text-message response to any blocked caller. (Speaking of which, it can block SMS messages as well.)

Call Firewall is a freebie. I haven’t tried it myself, as I’m between Windows Mobile handsets, so hit the Comments if you’re able to take this handy utility for a whirl. [via Inspect My Gadget]
