google-calendar-sycn.jpgKeep your Outlook and Google calendars in sync with a new Windows utility from Google. The aptly named Google Calendar Sync sits in your system tray and updates the two calendars at specified intervals.

The utility takes all of about 60 seconds to download and configure: You supply your Google username and password, choose a sync option (2-way or 1-way), and decide how often synchronization should take place. Presto, you’re done.

This is fantastic news for Google Calendar users. If you’re not one of them, give the free service a try — you may be surprised at how convenient it is to have online access to your schedule. [via Google Blogoscoped]
