My pick: Why Your Boss is Programmed to be a Dictator
Using Systems Thinking, the book shows why bosses behave badly. It??s a unique take on the issue of bad bosses - it removes the individual boss from the equation and shows how the system itself produces bad bosses.
Especially brilliant is the analysis of the US intelligence failure on the Iraq war. If you've ever wondered how exactly "the system" failed, this is the book to read. I hope a copy of the book somehow finds its way to the CIA folks.
Overall, a riveting and truly mind-altering read.
