Despite a large block of IP addresses being censored by the ‘Great Firewall of China,’ Chinese web users now number 166 million — 15% of the world’s internet population. But in a country of 1.3 billion, no Great Wall can hold back such a quickly rising tide.

Behind China, the sultry romance languages seem to be all the online rage. Spanish and Portuguese have the greatest potential. Spanish-speaking internet users grew by over 300% between 2000-2007.
