Home prices may be plummeting, but there is another real estate that’s steadily growing: .com domain names. Earlier this year, poker.com became the most valuable domain sale in history when it was reportedly sold for a whopping $27 million.
In fact, the sales in domains will outpace “real” real estate sales (even at their best of times). Over the next few years domain name sales are expected to double, and have already clipped in the past few years at a 50-75% annual growth pace.
